IAHAP currently offers board certification in the following areas:

  • Board-Certified Animal Massage Practitioner

  • Board-Certified Traditional Chinese Bodywork Practitioner

These certifications are intended to recognize practitioners who have developed strong foundational knowledge, practical skill, professional judgment, and a serious commitment to continued education within their field.

What Board Certification Means

Board Certification is more than membership alone. It is an advanced professional credential that recognizes practitioners who meet established standards for education, applied experience, ethics, and competency. This designation helps strengthen professional credibility, supports public trust, and highlights a practitioner’s dedication to responsible, informed, and compassionate care.
